ARSKOM has been established in Istanbul / TURKEY in 1986, has become one of the leaders hardware and software suppliers in the market. Mr. B. Arslan, the founder of the company, completed in MSc. in Business System Analysis and Design, at City University of London, in 1979.

ARSKOM deals in tailor made projects, run by experienced systems analyst to meet the customers' needs. ARSKOM employs 14 computer engineers to evaluate hardware and software needed to be installed, and develop software using COBOL, C, Pascal, Delphi and Progress software tools. ARSKOM also has experience in Unix, Linux, Novel Netware, Windows 3.11, 95, 98, 2000 and NT operating systems.

ARSKOM is an agent for the world's computer companies: COMPAQ, HP and IBM. ARSKOM also acts as a distributor for companies like; DATAWORKS and Strategic “Message Manager” their communication handling software; STRATOS their Global Positioning System (GPS), POLESTAR through the internet, as well as, TRIMBLE who supply GPS software and component technologies for mapping, GIS, (CrossCheck GSM) mobile positioning and communications, DATADISPLAY and TECHNOVISION for electronic data display boards, SATAMATICS for D+ vehicle tracking and fleet management system, THRANE & THRANE for Inmarsat-C terminal manufacturer for vessel tracking and two way messaging system
